Disney+ has confirmed that the second half of Rivals season 2 will arrive in November 2026, though an exact date has yet to be announced. The news comes after the first six episodes concluded with the shocking death of a major character.
The first batch of episodes ended with Monica Baddingham, wife of Tony Baddingham, being killed in a storm after discovering her husband's affair with Maud. Rupert delivered the devastating news to Tony, who was left visibly shattered despite his appalling treatment of Monica in her final hours.
The 12-episode season has been split into two six-episode halves. The first three episodes premiered on 15 May 2025, with the remainder released weekly. The second batch will complete the season's run in November 2026.
Disney+ has also released a trailer for the upcoming episodes. Rivals is available to stream on Disney+ from £5.99 per month.
