Reading and Leeds Festival 2026 has opened its gates, with campers arriving on the fields ahead of the full kick-off tomorrow. For the first time in the festival's history, artists will perform on a Thursday, with Kasabian headlining Leeds.
The PEPSI Max present Reading and Leeds Festival line-up features headliners Charli XCX, Fontaines D.C., Dave, Florence + The Machine, Raye, and Chase & Status, alongside emerging acts including Villanelle, Arkayla, Alex Spencer and The Lilacs. Hundreds of thousands of fans are expected at Bramham Park in Leeds and Richfield Avenue in Reading from today until Sunday, August 30.

Festival-goers should note the full list of banned items for the arena, including aerosols over 250ml, air horns, alcohol for personal consumption, animals other than hearing or guide dogs, any goods for unauthorised trading with unauthorised Leeds Festival logos, anything reasonably considered a weapon, oversized lighters, or items causing danger/offence/disruption, audio recorders, bags over A4 size, balloons, blankets, balaclavas, ski masks, face coverings, BBQs, blowtorches, cameras with lenses under six inches, camping equipment, cans, candles, catapults, chairs, Chinese/Sky lanterns, single-use vapes, sealed drinks bottles (no glass), drones, excessive amounts of food, firewood, fireworks/flares, flags, gas cylinders, glass bottles, illegal substances, nitrous oxide and related items, megaphones, penknives, lasers, selfie sticks, spray cans, and trolleys.
