The 2021 crime drama series The Equalizer, starring Queen Latifah, has been added to Paramount+, and fans have hailed it as "even better" than the original 1985 show.
The five-season series follows Robyn McCall, a former CIA operative who uses her skills to act as a street vigilante, helping those with nowhere else to turn. The original character, Robert McCall, was played by Edward Woodward.

Viewers took to IMDb reviews to share their thoughts, with one calling it "a show I didn't know I needed". They added: "As soon as I saw the trailer for this show, I knew I had to see it. The structure of the show might not be perfect, but Queen Latifah kills it as McCall."
