Euphoria fans fear for Angel's fate after rehab scene

Euphoria has introduced a new character, Angel, played by Priscilla Delgado, in its third season. The character's fate has become a major talking point among fans after a tense scene in the latest episode.

In the episode, Rue (Zendaya) is working at a strip club called the Silver Slipper. She forms a bond with stripper Angel, and the two sleep together in a car. Angel becomes frantic when she cannot find her friend Tish, and Rue reveals that Tish died from an overdose after being deceived by Alamo.

Rue takes Angel to a rehab facility, but the lack of paperwork and the arrival of an ambulance after Rue leaves have led fans to fear the worst. However, IMDb lists Delgado as appearing in six episodes of the season, suggesting Angel may survive.

Delgado, a 24-year-old Puerto Rican actress born in San Juan, is known for roles in Julieta (2016), Paco's Men (2005), and Desaparecidos (2020). She also appears in Prime Video's A League of Their Own and is set to star in a new Prison Break series.

Delgado first auditioned for Euphoria at age 17 for season two but did not get a role. She later auditioned again and secured the part of Angel for season three, describing it as a 'pinch-me moment'. Fans have praised her performance, with one Reddit user saying, 'I have such a soft spot for Angel though, I really hope she makes it out alive.'
