August Wittgenstein Joins 'Tomb Raider' Series Cast

Amazon Prime Video has completed the cast for its upcoming 'Tomb Raider' series, revealing a host of new additions including August Wittgenstein. The series, based on the iconic video game franchise, will star Sophie Turner as Lara Croft.

Wittgenstein will play Lukas, described as 'an illegal raider who shares history with Lara in more ways than one.' Other new cast members include Sigourney Weaver as Evelyn Wallis, a mysterious high-flying woman keen to exploit Lara's talents, and Jason Isaacs as Lara's uncle Atlas DeMornay.

Further cast details include Celia Imrie as Francine, head of advancement at the British Museum; Bill Paterson as Winston, the Croft family butler; and Martin Bobb-Semple as Zip, Lara's tech support and friend. Jack Bannon plays Gerry, Lara's personal pilot, while John Heffernan portrays David, a government official entangled in Lara's world.

Paterson Joseph plays Thomas Warner, a senior government official cleaning up a mess, and Sasha Luss is Sasha, a fierce adversary of Lara. Juliette Motamed plays Georgia, a British Museum curator dedicated to proper preservation.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge created the series and serves as co-showrunner with Chad Hodge. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Crystal Dynamics, and Legendary Television.
