Singer Paloma Faith has revealed that her four-year-old daughter has banned comedian Alan Carr from their home after he 'murdered' her on the BBC's Celebrity Traitors. The show, which began this week, saw 19 celebrities enter a Scottish castle, with Claudia Winkleman selecting Carr, Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns as the three Traitors.
In the latest episode, Carr chose to 'murder' his best friend Paloma Faith by touching her face. Speaking on The One Show, Faith said Carr had left to avoid watching the fallout but added: 'I'm sure he'll be fine, because everyone loves him. By next week everyone will forgive him.' However, her daughter felt differently. 'This morning, she woke up, shook me and said, 'Mama, I don't like Alan anymore. He can't come to our house. You can't invite him to our house again.'
Faith also addressed online criticism of her disappointment at being eliminated first. 'Why aren't we allowed in our culture to just say, 'Yeah I'm a bit upset that I wasn't there'?' she said. 'It's okay for me to say it wasn't ideal.' On Instagram, she captioned a post: 'Honestly. GUTTED. No words.' When a fan questioned Carr's friendship, she replied: 'So did I.'
Despite the upset, Faith said she forgives Carr and noted she would not have made the same decision. The show continues on BBC One.
