Sharon Osbourne shared a poignant four-word message on Instagram just days before the death of her husband, Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne. The 76-year-old rock star, who had Parkinson's disease, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, surrounded by family.
In her final post, Sharon wrote "Taking it all in" alongside a photo of herself sitting at the edge of the stage, watching Ozzy perform during their farewell concert, Back to the Beginning, at Villa Park on July 5. The show marked the band's reunion for one last performance, less than two miles from their first gig over 50 years ago.
Ozzy performed from an ornate black throne due to his health struggles, which included Parkinson's, spinal surgery, and injuries from a 2003 quad bike crash. The concert featured acts like Metallica and Guns N' Roses, with tributes from Jack Black and Dolly Parton.
Fans flooded Sharon's post with condolences, one noting, "Your face says you already knew what was coming." Singer Yungblud, who performed at the concert, called Ozzy "the greatest of all time," while Sir Elton John described him as a "huge trailblazer."
