Olivia Attwood said she "made it" as she made her This Morning debut, with Dermot O'Leary offering some advice on her first appearance.
Dermot, who usually only presents the Friday edition, has been on the show all week while Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard take their summer break. He appeared alongside Alison Hammond for the first four episodes, interviewing Jesy Nelson, Tom Nelson and Christina Aguilera.
On Thursday, Alison revealed it was her last show before her own holiday, telling viewers that Olivia would be on the following day. Olivia is the first in a string of guest presenters, including Sian Welby, Craig Doyle, Josie Gibson, Rylan Clark, Rochelle Hulmes, Emma Willis, Joel Dommett and Andi Peters.
Introducing Friday's programme, Dermot welcomed Olivia to the "famalam". Wearing a yellow cardigan and matching trousers, she said: "I want you to know I did wear a smaller heel." Dermot joked that trying to appear tall next to her would be "very hard" on his calves.
After a segment with a man who underwent cosmetic surgery for a six-pack, Olivia noted she was "still here" and had made it "through part one". Dermot recalled that when he finished his first part one, he thought he was out. Olivia jokingly replied: "I'll see myself out the backdoor fire exit."
