Oasis fans are being warned not to panic-buy tickets from resale websites such as Stubhub or Viagogo after a single ticket for the band's Celtic Park show appeared on Viagogo for £1,333. The ticket, for May 21, 2027, in the seated section of 101, is being sold for more than triple the face value price range of £71.50 to £263.50 on Ticketmaster.
No general sale for Oasis Live '27 tour
The first two rounds of Oasis sales, which can only be accessed via a unique non-transferable code, took place on September 25 at 9am and 1pm. The Gallagher brothers announced earlier this month that there would be no general sale for their Oasis Live '27 tour due to global demand for tickets.
Instead, fans had to register their interest by September 17 at 4pm BST and were told they would receive a code if they were randomly selected to access the sale. Millions missed out this morning and may now be feeling desperate to get their hands on tickets.
Resale rules and fake code warning
The band clearly stated on their tour information that resale tickets will only be valid if they are purchased from Ticketmaster or Twickets and must be sold for face value. This means fans who buy tickets for an Oasis gig from elsewhere risk their tickets being void. Oasis also added that tickets would only be available for resale closer to the time of the shows next year.
It comes as the band issued a warning to fans about fake Oasis codes on Wednesday evening ahead of the sale, asking them to remain 'vigilant'. In a statement, they wrote: "With code emails due to be sent out over the next few days, please read this post carefully and be aware of potential Oasis Live '27 ticket scams. As ticket information and unique codes are about to be distributed, please remain vigilant. Scammers may attempt to impersonate Oasis, our mailing list or our ticket partners."
How to spot a genuine code
Fans have been warned to use a checklist of four things to confirm an Oasis code is real before accepting it. The band states that if you have randomly selected to receive a code, your email will: come only from oasis@openstageit.com; use the name and email address you registered with; contain a unique, personal and non-transferable code; and direct you to Ticketmaster and nowhere else. Any codes that are offered for sale are not genuine and will not allow you access to the sale.
If you have not received a code yet, don't panic as ticket organisers have revealed that fans may not receive them until as late as Sunday (September 27). There will be another seven Oasis Live '27 sales over the course of the weekend with a third sale tonight (September 25) at 5pm. On Saturday (September 26) and Sunday (September 27) three lots of sales will take place each day at 9am, 1pm and 5pm.
