BBC Breakfast presenter Nina Warhurst returned to the programme on Wednesday after maternity leave, praising her baby daughter as 'the best'. The 43-year-old welcomed her third child, Nance, with husband Ed Fraser in July.
Host Jon Kay introduced Warhurst as 'the perfect person' to investigate the price of baby formula. Warhurst said: 'It's lovely to be back. I have missed the gang. I'm missing the baby this morning very much but yeah it's lovely to be back. Best job in the world. And best baby in the world.' She added: 'I know everyone thinks their baby is the best one but sorry guys, mine actually is.'
Warhurst's co-stars had announced the birth in July. Sally Nugent said: 'Some very exciting news now about our colleague Nina Warhurst... She has welcomed a very healthy, beautiful baby girl.' The programme shared a picture of mother and daughter. Warhurst and Ed are already parents to two sons, Digby and Michael.
Warhurst confirmed her pregnancy on Mother's Day 2023 and worked until a few days before the birth.
