New Faces Join BBC's Casualty for Milestone Series

BBC drama Casualty has announced three new cast members joining the show for its milestone series. Sammy T Dobson (I, Daniel Blake), Manpreet Bachu (Killing Eve) and Jamie Glover (The Crown) will appear on screen from February and March, playing junior doctors and a new clinical lead.

Sammy T Dobson plays Nicole Piper, a late starter in medicine from a working-class background, described as the epitome of 'work hard, play hard'. She said joining Casualty 'has felt like a dream' and praised the welcoming cast and crew.

Manpreet Bachu portrays Tariq Hussein, cousin of existing character Rash Masum. Tariq is a 'loveable rogue' who recently returned from Australia and is determined to climb the ranks as an NHS doctor. Bachu called joining the show 'an honour and an absolute privilege'.

Series producer Liza Mellody welcomed the newcomers, stating they will bring 'wit, charm and drama' to Holby. Casualty, the world's longest-running primetime medical drama, airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
