Netflix has announced new cast members for its upcoming adaptation of Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar book series, which fans have called his "best series yet." The streaming giant revealed on July 21, 2026, that former Saturday Night Live star Chloe Fineman will play sports journalist Parker Quinn, Bel-Air actor Jabari Banks will portray tennis prodigy Dwayne Richmond, Sons of Anarchy veteran Jamie McShane will take on the role of veteran NYPD homicide detective Ray Dimonte, and Gotham star Ben McKenzie will appear as Myron's former agent Gavin Pierce.
Main Cast and Showrunners Confirmed
This latest casting update follows Netflix's initial announcement in May 2026 that it would adapt Coben's best-selling Myron Bolitar novel series, which blends crime and sports. The streaming service previously confirmed that Pulse and The Continental actor Colin Woodell will play the title role of Myron Bolitar, a former NBA hopeful turned sports agent who owns MB SportsReps, a firm representing athletes and celebrities.
Joining Woodell is Riverdale and The Hate U Give star KJ Apa as Myron's best friend Windsor 'Win' Horne Lockwood III, who assists him on cases. The Lincoln Lawyer and Orange is the New Black actress Diane Guerrero rounds out the main cast as Esperanza Diaz, another close friend who becomes a partner at Myron's firm.
Emmy and Golden Globe winner David E. Kelley, known for Big Little Lies, and Kyle Long, whose writing credits include Suits and Notorious B.I.G., will serve as showrunners on the series.
About the Myron Bolitar Series
Coben's character Myron Bolitar first appeared in the 1995 novel Dealbreaker and has since featured in 12 novels and counting. Many fans consider this series his best work. A description from Netflix's Tudum reads: "After an injury ends his NBA dreams, Myron Bolitar reinvents himself as a sports agent — using charm, smarts, and a ruthless partner to navigate the high-stakes and dirty world of sports, where saving his clients often means risking himself."
Netflix's partnership with Coben began in 2017, when the author granted the platform access to 14 of his novels. In 2022, they extended the deal to include 12 more novels, including the Myron Bolitar books. The adaptation has been in development since then.
