Netflix's crime thriller Legends, based on real events from the early 1990s, has been praised by viewers as 'extremely watchable'. The series dramatises the work of British customs investigators who infiltrated drug smuggling operations with minimal support and shoestring budgets from the police.

Created and directed by Neil Forsyth, the show launched in May 2026. It follows a select team of customs officers from Her Majesty's Customs and Excise who were given completely new identities and tasked with infiltrating the most perilous drug gangs.
