Netflix Hit 'The Four Seasons' Returns for Season 2 Trailer

A beloved Netflix sitcom, hailed as a "gem" by fans, is making its much-anticipated return for a second season, with the official trailer now available to watch.

The Four Seasons, starring an all-star ensemble including Tina Fey and Colman Domingo, was a runaway hit when it first premiered on Netflix in May 2025, leaving audiences in stitches. Now, a year later, the remake of the classic 1981 film of the same name is back for a second series, with its trailer dropping online.

However, fans of the first series will notice a significant shake-up following the shocking death of Nick, played by Steve Carell. The trailer reveals the remaining close-knit friends, along with Nick's pregnant girlfriend Ginny (Erika Henningsen), reuniting to honour what will be dubbed the "annual Nick weekend."

Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver) grapples with handling Nick's estate, Danny (Colman Domingo) weighs up the prospect of parenthood, while Kate (Tina Fey) frets that Jack (Will Forte) is going through a "hard time."

While Carell devotees may be disappointed by his absence, the rest of the beloved cast are back for series two, which lands on Thursday, May 28.

Given the enormous acclaim heaped upon the first series, it's little surprise Netflix greenlit a second run. "So good watched in one day I went from laughing, cringing to crying and laughing again all in a matter of minutes," one fan enthused on IMDb. Another chimed in: "This show is so funny my stomach hurts so much. I mean the characters and the couples and real life problems or situations they face are so accurate. And very moving. I cried a few times because it was so relatable to how we feel in dark times."

Another viewer wrote: "Easy watching, perfect for a night on the sofa with your other half." Others have described it as "laugh out loud hilarious," a "gem," and "the best show I've watched in a long time."

The Four Seasons season two premieres on Thursday, May 28, on Netflix.
