Five seasons of the military drama series SEAL Team are now available on Netflix, and fans say they are binge-watching the show for hours at a time.
The series originally aired from 2017 to 2024. While it has seven seasons in total, Netflix currently offers the first five. Viewers without a Netflix subscription can also watch the show on U at no extra cost. The final two seasons are available on NOW or Paramount+.
Fans praise realism and action
Fans have praised the show for its realism and action-packed drama. Plot and cast
The series follows Bravo Team, a sub-unit of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group, the most elite unit of Navy SEALs, as they plan and undertake dangerous missions worldwide with little notice, and the burden placed on them and their families.
The cast is led by David Boreanaz, known for his past roles in Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and its spin-off Angel. Even after its series finale, fans still consider it one of the best military shows made for TV.
Fan reactions and availability
Some fans feel the show should have a higher rating on Rotten Tomatoes than its fan score of 85%. One fan admitted they were "instantly hooked. Loads of action, good human stories and snappy dialogue. Tore through the first season in a couple of days."
