Channel 4's 'Narrow Escapes' has returned for a third series, featuring its first-ever visit to Scotland. The 20-part series airs weekdays at 4pm and is available to stream on Channel 4's online service.
The new episodes showcase journeys across Scotland's waterways, including the Caledonian Canal, Loch Ness, and the Falkirk Wheel. Among the featured boaters are cousins Graham and Caroline from Linlithgow, who travel from the Caledonian Canal onto Loch Ness via a narrowboat and Le Boat cruiser.
Graham described the experience as 'truly extraordinary,' noting that swapping his narrowboat for a cruiser allowed him to see the beauty of the Scottish Highlands in a special way. The series also follows other boaters across the UK, from solo adventurers to families and canal-side businesses.
'Narrow Escapes' offers an intimate look at the motivations, rewards, and realities of living afloat, set against charming natural landscapes. The first two series are available to stream online now.
