MobLand Season 2 Teaser Confirms Tom Hardy's Harry Lives

The MobLand Season 2 teaser has confirmed that Tom Hardy's character Harry Da Souza is alive and well, answering the major cliffhanger from the Season 1 finale. The trailer, released by Paramount+, shows Harry back in action as the Harrigan family faces a looming civil war.

Harry's Fate Revealed

In the Season 1 finale, Harry was accidentally stabbed by his wife Jan Da Souza (Joanne Froggatt) during a kitchen argument, leaving his fate uncertain. However, the Season 2 teaser confirms he survived, as executive producer Jez Butterworth previously hinted to Screen Rant: “I mean, if you think about it, ‘Is Harry dead?’ No. We’re not gonna – We love Harry. We love Tom.” Butterworth explained the cliffhanger was for dramatic effect, and Hardy will remain a central figure for the foreseeable future.

Harrigan Civil War Erupts

The teaser places Harry at the center of the Harrigan family's turmoil, as he explains the family is on the brink of civil war and their enemies are noticing the cracks. Season 1 set up this conflict when Eddie (Anson Boon) discovered his grandfather Conrad Harrigan (Pierce Brosnan) is actually his father, not Kevin (Paddy Considine).

The trailer also shows Conrad, now out of prison, walking through a restaurant firing a gun while his wife Maeve (Helen Mirren) watches approvingly. He declares: “We are the Harrigans! Don’t know the name? Then Google us!” This scene confirms both Conrad and Maeve are free and ready to cause more chaos.

New Threats for Harry

Despite surviving Season 1, Harry faces new dangers in Season 2. The teaser shows a gun pointed at the back of his head, and he tells a terrified cyclist in his van: “This hasn’t exactly been a wonderful 24 hours, for me. I’m under a lot of pressure.”

Fan Reactions

Fans have shared their excitement on YouTube. One wrote: “Harry's back to business fixing everyone's mess.” Another said: “We had Peaky Blinders. Now it's time for MobLand to take the throne.” A third commented: “Brosnan got that R-rated James Bond going on. Love that he’s getting in on the action this time.” Yet another added: “The Harrigans are back for biz and blood!”

MobLand Season 2 premieres on Paramount+ on Friday, September 18.
