Actress Mandy Moore has revealed she and her family were involved in a hit-and-run car crash, describing the driver who fled the scene as a 'terrible human'. The 41-year-old star of The Princess Diaries took to social media to share the frightening incident.
Moore explained that she was rear-ended while driving with her three children and husband Taylor Goldsmith. She wrote: 'The woman who rear-ended my family and then drove off as we pulled over, hope your karma finds you. Thankfully, everyone was ok, but what kind of human does that?'
The incident comes after a difficult year for the family, who lost their home in the Eaton fire in Southern California in January. Moore shared at the time that her children's school had been destroyed and that she felt 'numb' from the devastation.
Despite the challenges, the family recently enjoyed a holiday in Nayarit, Mexico, with friends. Moore posted pictures of the trip on Instagram, describing it as 'epic' and noting that her eldest son Gus had not stopped talking about it.
