The Manchester Brick Festival, billed as a 'Lego lover's dream come true', arrives this Saturday, July 11, at the Sugden Sports Centre in Manchester city centre. Tickets start from just £5, making it an accessible day out for families, collectors, and enthusiasts alike.
What to Expect at the Event
The one-day event promises 'Lego-themed fun' with a variety of activities, including adrenaline-inducing speed building competitions, Master Builder led build challenges, scavenger hunts, a dedicated building area, gaming zones, and a Lego RC car zone. Visitors can browse trader tables selling loose bricks, new or rare retired Lego sets, mini figures, accessories, and more.
A spokesperson said: 'Get up close and personal, chat with these Lego artists about their latest projects, snag some insider tips, and leave brimming with inspiration.'
Ticket Prices and Timings
Tickets cost £8 for adults (age 12 plus) and £6 for children (age 5 to 12). Under fives go free. A family ticket for two adults and two children offers extra value at £20. Early bird tickets are available for £13 each, granting entry from 10am and a free Lego gift on arrival. Standard ticket holders enter from 11am. The event runs until 4pm.
