The drama continues to unfold on the E4 reality show as this week marks Homestay Week, with couples packing their belongings and heading to their partner's residence for the first time. Designed to show what life might look like beyond the experiment, the trip has strengthened some relationships but caused others to fall apart.
Billboard Revelation
In tonight's episode (April 29), the second instalment of homestays saw the remaining couples travel home. Within minutes, viewers questioned Alissa's genuine intentions after spotting a massive billboard featuring her photograph when she and David touched down at Adelaide Airport.
As Alissa filmed the arrival, David could be heard remarking: "Can't believe I'm finally here babe", to which Alissa responded: "Look". The camera then shifted to a billboard displaying a huge image of Alissa with the slogan "We've been expecting you", prompting David to confess: "This is nuts".
David later admitted he "didn't realise how big a deal Alissa was until I saw a massive poster with her face on it", adding that he was "stunned" and felt like he was "with a celebrity in Adelaide".
