The dry run involves a fake cast testing camera angles, challenges, and villa logistics two months before filming. Previous winners and contestants, including Sanam Harrinanan from series nine and Summer Botwe from series eight, were discovered through this process. Summer Botwe revealed on Instagram that the dry run serves as an opportunity for hopefuls to impress producers, with one or two typically chosen as bombshells or Casa Amor contestants.
