Love Island's newest arrivals, Ethan and Elicia, are set to rock the villa with a major twist in tonight's episode (July 12) on ITV2. Just hours after a dumping, the pair are given an ultimatum that forces them to steal a boy and a girl of their choice to couple up with, disrupting two established couples.
Islanders Face Tough Decisions After Public Vote
Following the unexpected announcement that one more couple will be exiting the villa, Julia and Lorenzo—voted the Islanders' favourite couple by the public—are handed the power to decide who leaves. Jasmine then receives a text summoning the pair for a private conversation, where they must choose which couple's Love Island journey ends. Lorenzo confesses to Julia: "I have no idea what to do."
After making their selection, the couple return to the garden to reveal the result to the rest of the Islanders. Addressing the group, Lorenzo admits: "It's a horrible feeling having to stand here and end somebody's journey."
New Arrivals Given Power to Steal Partners
Later that evening, as the Islanders unwind, Yasmin receives a text instructing everyone to gather at the fire pit. Once seated, Elicia gets another text: "Elicia and Ethan, as the newest arrivals, you must now decide to steal a boy and a girl of your choice to couple up with."
Charged with disrupting two couples, Elicia and Ethan step forward to announce their choices. Ethan speaks first, confessing the choice hasn't been straightforward and that he has enjoyed getting to know one of the girls "from the start" and that it "was just really easy." Elicia then declares: "It's clear as day the two boys I've been getting to know. My gut and my heart are saying this person."
Drama Ensues as Selections Shock the Villa
The surprising selections create shockwaves throughout the villa, leaving everyone stunned. Since arriving, Elicia has sparked drama by getting to know Finley, who is already paired with Ellie. It remains to be seen whether the blonde beauty will be bold enough to pursue what she desires.
