Eagle-eyed Love Island fans have identified a worrying clue that suggests one popular couple may not survive outside the villa. Angie and Simba have emerged as favourites to win following Simba's surprising redemption story, but a conversation during the family visit episode has raised doubts.
Family Visit Raises Concerns
Last night's episode (July 19) saw friends and family invited into the villa, with relatives not holding back in expressing their opinions. Taking Simba aside for a private chat, Angie's brother acknowledged his 'respectable qualities', but had a few queries, reports OK!.
He questioned: 'Why must you share a bed with someone to know you like them?' Simba conceded it doesn't prove anything, but it was the situation they found themselves in. Angie's brother then probed about what the future held for the couple, before stating: 'All I ask is do the right s*** and don't let other people influence you.' He added: 'You've done yourself a service, not always, but you've done yourself a service.'
Viewers React
Viewers at home were certain this could spell trouble for Angie and Simba, with one person posting on X: 'Angie's brother doesn't like Simba at all.' Another wrote: 'Angie's brother isn't that convinced by what Simba is saying.' A third echoed: 'I don't think Angelista's brother likes Simba loool.'
A fourth commented: 'Ange's brother is having NONE of it. He doesn't accept Simba.' A fifth added: 'Angie's brother will never take his eye off Simba, that man does not like him.' Another stated: 'When Simba messes up the 1st week out of the villa...which he will, Angie's brother will destroy him.' One person simply said: 'Angelista's brother knows what Simba is but wants to support his sister, I hear it.'
Mixed Reactions
However, many were pleasantly surprised by the conversation, with one person commenting: 'I hope Angelista and Simba win. The way her brother is so protective.' Another replied: 'Nah the conversation between Simba and Angie's brother was very good. Better than I expected.' A third echoed: 'Angie's brother pulling Simba for a chat. Simba you learnt your lesson today.'
For some, the family and friends visit solidified the idea that the two should win the show, with one person stating: 'Angie and Simba the best couple in there by a thousand mile.' Another supported: 'Ex-Islanders saying Simba and Angelista are the most genuine, hand them the 50k plsss.'
