Love Island fans divided as couple dumped just before live final
Love Island fans divided as couple dumped before live final

Love Island season 13 has ended with a last-minute dumping that left viewers divided. Just before the live final, Mica and Samraj — who had been voted off by former Islanders — were tasked with dumping another couple. They chose Yasmin and Tommy, meaning the pair missed out on a spot in the final.

Brutal twist before the final

The villa was thrown into chaos hours before the July 27 final. Mica and Samraj received a text instructing them to choose one more couple to be dumped. They agonised over whether to pick Yasmin and Tommy or Lorenzo and Julia, ultimately deciding on Yasmin and Tommy.

A shocked Jasmine exclaimed: "What the h***." Yasmin tearfully said: "It's just sad it's coming to an end and you have to say goodbye to everyone." Tommy was also seen in tears, comforting Lorenzo.

Viewer reactions

Fans on X were split. One wrote: "How f***** underwhelming." Another commented: "The most boring twist of all time. This season is so low budget and predictable. It's so obvious she's gonna win now." A third fumed: "So unfair mica and samraj got to pick as if their opinion has any weight. Should've been the publics vote."

Another said: "if love island really wanted to be messy they would put a wildcard option in the final vote where the public could vote for jasmine and lorenzo as our winners." A fifth declared: "Yasmin had so much potential to win, I wonder what the Facebook moms think of the couple." A sixth vented: "tommy did yasmin so dirty, she's been such a babe throughout and was robbed of the final but yeah right decision."

Love Island is available on ITVX.
