Love Island's Toni has hit back at fellow contestant Blu after he named her as a potential romantic connection during a tense confrontation. The row erupted following a brutal recoupling that left both Blu and Shea single, forcing the boys to face off in a head-to-head elimination.
Blu attempted to justify his place in the villa by claiming he had been there longer and felt a stronger connection with the group. When Shea pressed him on who he was still exploring a connection with, Blu replied 'Toni', prompting an immediate backlash from the American bombshell.
Toni shot back in front of the whole group: 'I think my name got pulled up out of someone’s a**.' Fans on social media were quick to support her, with one joking: 'Toni gagged Blu. I love that.' Another added: 'The way Toni silenced Blu...queen!'
The showdown comes after a difficult week for Blu, who has struggled to form connections. He previously stepped forward for Shakira, only for her to couple up with Harry, and his former partner Alima made it clear there was no romantic chemistry between them.
Newcomer Shea, a single dad, has made it clear he is looking for something real and did not hold back during the standoff, taking a swipe at Blu's string of failed connections by saying: 'I think if a girl walked in, I could definitely take it somewhere.'
