The second season of Love Is Blind UK has concluded with a dramatic reunion, revealing that only one of the three couples who married during the finale remains together. Kieran and Megan are still happily married, while Billy and Ashleigh, and Kal and Sarover have parted ways since filming ended.
The show's female contestants have spoken exclusively about the emotional toll of watching their wedding episodes after their relationships fell apart. Ashleigh described a scene where the four single women huddled together sobbing, saying: 'We were all curled up on one bed sobbing. Fetal [position], intertwined, all four of us just sobbing.'
Bardha, who rejected Jed at the altar, added: 'It was really hard to watch... It was just so nice to have each other and support each other through that. I don't think I could have watched that alone.' Sarover recalled the bittersweet memories, stating: 'We really were all so in love during filming, and it's bittersweet because of what happens later.'
Ashleigh reflected on the prolonged difficulty, saying: 'We really got married, we really went through break-ups, and it's been difficult... You have to cancel that outside noise because we've been on a journey for a year where we've not been able to talk about it.' The group acknowledged they are experiencing 'double the trauma' by reliving their experiences on screen.
In contrast, the sole surviving couple, Kieran and Megan, described their marriage as 'all smooth sailing'. They join Nicole and Benaiah and Bobby and Jasmine from season one as successful matches, while Steven and Sabrina have also separated.
