Fans spot striking resemblance
Sophie, 27, is one of this season's standout cast members. She sparked a strong connection with Hertfordshire lad Taylor Burgen, 31, in the pods and they got engaged. But it isn't just Sophie's love story that has caught viewers' attention. Fans at home have been left distracted by her striking resemblance to actress Margot Robbie.
Taking to Reddit, one viewer shared: "Sophie gives me Margot Robbie, especially from the side!" A second agreed: "Yes! Thought she looked like Barbie!" Others have voiced the same revelation on Meta, formerly Facebook. "Is it just me or does she look like a cross of Margot Robbie and Cameron Diaz," commented one. Sophie's journey before the pods
Margot is an Australian actress best known for her roles in critically acclaimed films like The Wolf of Wall Street and Barbie. Before starting her Love Is Blind journey, Sophie had been single for seven months. It is the longest she's ever been on her own, having been in a relationship with her last partner since she was just 19 years old.
The Manchester-based star is said to be looking "for someone who will grow with her and is ready to get married and start a family". The first eight episodes of Love Is Blind UK season three are now streaming on Netflix, with the final three instalments set to air next Wednesday, August 26.
