The Lorraine show was taken off air on Friday as host Lorraine Kelly faced a health problem. The ITV daytime programme was replaced by a repeat of the show, with Kelly absent from her usual presenting duties.
A spokesperson for the show confirmed that Kelly was unwell and unable to present the episode. 'Lorraine is under the weather and we wish her a speedy recovery,' the spokesperson said.
The show is expected to return to normal scheduling on Monday, with Kelly back in the presenter's chair if she has recovered.
Kelly, 63, has been a mainstay of daytime television for decades, hosting the Lorraine show since 2010. The programme typically airs weekdays from 9am on ITV.
