The 64-year-old presenter paid £108,000 in tax in 2023, suggesting earnings of £568,000 for the year. She appeared in only 99 out of 173 episodes, a fact often joked about by fans. Her per-episode rate works out at approximately £5,737, making her one of the best-paid women in broadcasting.
Kelly's salary surpasses that of ITV colleagues Ruth Langsford and Alison Hammond. Langsford's earnings dropped from £3.3 million to £1.9 million after reducing her TV work, while Hammond's company pot increased by just £6,000 to £139,000.
Off-screen, Kelly is preparing to become a grandmother. Her daughter Rosie, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Steve White, shared a sneak peek of the nursery Kelly has set up at her home, featuring a handmade boucle bunny and moon cot mobile. Rosie is due to give birth any day now.
