Adil Ray, presenter of Good Morning Britain, made an on-air plea for Lindsay Lohan to 'get in touch' after revealing he once had dinner with the Hollywood star. The revelation came during Friday's show, when Ray was joined by co-host Kate Garraway and former I'm A Celebrity contestant Melvin Odoom.
Odoom, who had attended the premiere of Freakier Friday the previous night, mentioned that Ray had met Lohan. Ray initially hesitated, saying, 'You know when we say things off-air, you're not supposed to...' but eventually shared the story. He explained: 'I had dinner with Lindsay. Me and Lindsay, we had dinner together.'
Pressed by Garraway for more details, Ray clarified it was not a date, adding: 'We had mutual friends, we all went out for dinner together and she came along. She's lovely, she's a fantastic human, really well-lived, really smart, really intelligent. Lindsay, if you're watching, get in touch!'
Lohan rose to fame as a child star in The Parent Trap (1998) and later starred in hits like Mean Girls. At the Freakier Friday premiere, Jamie Lee Curtis, her co-star, spoke about protecting young actors, saying: 'I wanna be a safe zone for Lindsay.' The sequel took over two decades because, as Curtis explained, Lohan needed to be old enough to have a teenage daughter.
