Netflix has renewed The Witcher for a fourth season, with Liam Hemsworth stepping into the role of Geralt of Rivia, replacing Henry Cavill. Cavill, who portrayed the monster-hunting protagonist for the first three seasons, has decided to move on after a short-term contract. The series, created by showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, follows the intertwined destinies of three individuals in a world where humans, elves, witchers, and monsters struggle for survival. Executive producers include Tomek Baginski, Jason F. Brown, Sean Daniel, Mike Ostrowski, Steve Gaub, and Jarosław Sawko.
