Jonathan Ross has criticised Frankie Boyle's offensive humour as 'extreme' and stated he does not find it funny. Ross made the comments after hosting the Comedy Awards, where Boyle was notably absent from the nominees.
Ross, known for his own controversial style, said that while he supports Channel 4's right to air edgy content, Boyle's particular brand of comedy is not to his taste. He defended the broadcaster despite thousands of complaints over racist jokes in Boyle's show Tramadol Nights.
The 50-year-old presenter also addressed his recent outing of his daughter Betty as gay during a radio interview, saying she should be left to 'get on with her life'. Ross left the BBC in 2008 after the Sachsgate scandal.
