Jinseon Korean BBQ in Coventry has been named the Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year 2026, winning the top prize of £100,000 to invest into the business. The award was announced at a ceremony held in London last night.
The restaurant was celebrated for combining high-quality meats with bold traditional marinades, impressing both judges and the public. Fans have called the venue "outstanding" and "fantastic".
Prize money to expand the business
Ken Tsang, Managing Director at Jinseon Korean BBQ, said the money will be used to "expand" the business. The restaurant offers a traditional Korean barbecue experience, with hot coals at the table where diners can cook their meats in front of them.
Merve Basci, General Manager of Uber Eats UK, said: "Jinseon Korean BBQ really stood out for their freshness, bold flavours, and attention to detail on their cooking techniques."
Overwhelmingly positive reviews
The restaurant's online reviews are overwhelmingly positive. One visitor said: "Fantastic concept, great food, lovely staff and an amazing atmosphere! I was blown away by the space when I entered the restaurant."
Another said: "The quality of the food was outstanding, with fresh ingredients and excellent cuts of meat. The Korean BBQ experience was great fun and made for a really enjoyable evening."

Other regional champions recognised
Eight other winners were present at the ceremony to be recognised for their food, service and standing in the community. They included Coqfighters in Central London, Ragin Bird in Leicester, Junglees in North London, Nashville Cluck in Liverpool, Piatto in Glasgow, Gurt Wings in Bristol, Brorritos in South London and Shimlas in Bradford.
Coqfighter and The Nashville Cluck secured the £25,000 second-place and £10,000 third-place prizes, respectively.
