Survivor 50 Trailer Includes Celebrity Cameos and Hint of Jeff Probst Competing

The first trailer for Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans aired after Wednesday's season finale, offering a glimpse of the landmark season. The footage shows former players boarding a private plane, with familiar faces like Ozzy Lusth, Jonathan Young, and Colby Donaldson appearing. Host Jeff Probst tells the castaways, 'We chose you to represent 25 years of the greatest adventure on television. It's a big honour, and the only thing we want in exchange for giving you the spot… is everything.'

Filmmaker Mike White, a past contestant, provides a memorable tease: 'It feels a little like a high school reunion meets massacre.' The trailer also features surprise cameos from musician Zac Brown and YouTube star Jimmy 'MrBeast' Donaldson, who carries his signature briefcase. Earlier in the video, a coin engraved with both 'Beast Games' and Survivor appears, along with a 'Billie Eilish boomerang idol'. Player Rick Devens confirms the idol's presence, while Christian Hubicki adds, 'Jimmy Fallon may decide my fate in this game.' Two finalists from the recently concluded Season 49, Savannah Louie and Rizo Velovic, are also shown.

The most surprising moment may be a shot of Jeff Probst seemingly competing alongside the players. The trailer follows the dramatic end of Season 49, where Savannah Louie won her fifth individual immunity challenge—a record for a woman in a single season—and ultimately secured the $1 million prize, defeating Sophi Balerdi and Sage Ahrens-Nichols in the final tribal council. This marked only the third time in the show's history that the final three consisted entirely of women, and the first in 20 seasons.
