Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec have celebrated their daughter Lyra's third birthday. The Strictly Come Dancing couple marked the milestone on Tuesday, July 28.
Birthday celebrations
Aljaz posted a video on Instagram of the birthday girl dancing to Pharrell Williams's song "Happy," wearing a party hat and surrounded by balloons. "Our little ‘sonček’ is 3 today! We kicked things off with a cake and a boogie!" he captioned the post. Janette reshared the video, showing her dancing with Lyra.
Strictly co-stars sent their wishes. Katya Jones wrote: "Happy birthday our gorgeous dancing queen!!!" Amy Dowden said: "Happy birthday darling Lyra." Dianne Buswell posted heart emojis and wrote "Happy Birthday," while Nancy Xu added: "Happy the best birthdayyyy little Leo princess."
Strictly future
The birthday update comes as Janette confirmed she is "no longer a part" of Strictly or its spin-off It Takes Two, 13 years after joining as a professional dancer. Aljaz, who left Strictly in 2022 and returned in 2024, will be back in the ballroom for the upcoming series starting in September.
