Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd married scriptwriter Hanni Treweek in a lavish ceremony at Manchester Cathedral on Saturday. The actor, who plays David Platt, has been with Treweek since 2017, proposing on safari last June.
Shepherd, 37, arrived in a red Mustang wearing a cream tuxedo and sunglasses, accompanied by his mother and son Reuben. Treweek, 35, wore an elegant lace gown with floral detailing and long sleeves, her bridesmaids helping with the train.
The guest list was packed with Corrie co-stars, including Colson Smith, Ben Price, Lucy Fallon, Tina O'Brien, and Helen Worth. Fellow Celebrity Big Brother finalist Chris Hughes attended without his girlfriend JoJo Siwa.
After the ceremony, the couple emerged to confetti and a kiss. The reception was held at the five-star Lowry Hotel, where rapper Drake is currently staying. Security firm Capricorn was hired to ensure smooth proceedings.
A source told The Sun that no expense was spared, with Shepherd previously revealing he took part in Celebrity Big Brother to help fund the wedding, which he went on to win.
