ITV will air the legal thriller series The Rainmaker on Friday 28 August at 9pm. The broadcaster acquired the star-studded US show, which will air weekly and also be available to stream on ITVX.
Plot and Premise
Based on the best-selling novel by John Grisham, the series follows Rudy Baylor, fresh out of law school, who goes head-to-head with courtroom lion Leo Drummond as well as his law school girlfriend, Sarah. Rudy, along with his boss, Bruiser, and her disheveled paralegal, Deck, uncover two connected conspiracies surrounding the mysterious death of their client's son.

Mad Men legend John Slattery, 64, plays Leo Drummond. He is also known for Sex and the City, Desperate Housewives, Spotlight, Avengers: Endgame, Captain America: Civil War and Ant-Man.
Milo Callaghan plays Rudy Baylor, best known for The Spanish Princess, Video Nasty and Rivals as Seb Burrows. Once Upon a Time's Lana Parrilla, 49, plays Jocelyn "Bruiser" Stone, known for Spin City, Boomtown, Windfall and Swingtown.
Jumanji star Madison Iseman, 29, plays Sarah Plankmore, known for Still the King, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji: The Next Level, as well as the Amazon Prime Video horror series I Know What You Did Last Summer. The Wolf of Wall Street actor P.J. Byrne, 46, plays Deck Shifflet, known for The Game, The Legend of Korra and The Five-Star Weekend.
