A 26-year-old builder from Newcastle who became an internet sensation as the 'Ibiza Final Boss' has disclosed that he earned more than £800,000 in the six weeks after his viral video. Jack Kay’s footage of him dancing on the party island took TikTok by storm, earning him the nickname and a sudden fortune.
In a new Channel 4 documentary, The Ibiza Final Boss: UNTOLD, Kay opens up about his finances and lifestyle changes. When asked by a friend how much money he has made, he replied: 'Pick a number,' before confirming it was 'a little tidge more' than £800,000.
Kay splashed out on a £55,000 Range Rover SVR with his first pay cheque and spends £80 a week on three barber visits to maintain his signature bowl cut. He also reveals that despite the sudden wealth, he is trying to stay grounded for the sake of his young daughter. 'I had nothing growing up so to give her the life when she's older, she can have anything she wants, is just unbelievable,' he says.
The documentary, which aired on September 24, explores how Kay is capitalising on his fame through nightclub tours, brand partnerships, and a vodka business venture. He also launched a clothing collection with boohooMAN and was gifted a yacht trip worth over £10,000.
