Tickets for the seventh edition of Homobloc, headlined by Grammy-winning pop star Kim Petras, go on sale today for the festival's first-ever summer edition, taking place on Saturday, September 26 at Depot Mayfield in Manchester. Tickets are priced at £54.50.
Event Details and Lineup
Homobloc, which began in 2019 as an offshoot of Luke Unabomber's Homoelectric club night, has grown into a globally recognised LGBTQ+ clubbing celebration. This year's event features over 150 performers across multiple stages, including the main Depot, Concourse, and Archive stages, plus additional areas like the Plant Room, the historic Star & Garter Pub, and the Loft.
Kim Petras, known for hits such as "Need For Speed", "Coconuts", and "XXX", as well as collaborations with Sam Smith and Charli XCX, will headline. She is joined by Cobrah, a special back-to-back set from Chicago's Honey Dijon and Derrick Carter, all-female DJ collective Girls Don't Sync, and DJ Paulette.
Community and Charity Focus
Creative director Sophie Bee told the ECHO: "It’s been an incredible journey since Homobloc began in 2019. The festival production has grown enormously, and this year more than 150 Homodolls will bring the festival to life through drag, dance, theatre and immersive performance across every corner of Depot Mayfield. Homobloc has become a landmark event for the North West’s cultural calendar, championing the region’s creativity while bringing together artists, performers and audiences from across the UK and beyond."
Since 2021, Homobloc has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for LGBTQ+ charities. Rod Connolly from Homobloc said: "We are excited to present our first ever summertime edition of Homobloc, bringing together global queer icons, underground heroes, and the next generation of artists who we trust in pushing queer culture and electronic music forward. In times like these, the connection felt at large-scale events like Homobloc are absolutely crucial for the community. A sea of 10,000 souls all under one roof, dancing ‘til we are free. It’s so powerful. You leave knowing that we are the many, and the people who demonise us are the few."

Pre-sale tickets are available on Thursday, July 9 at 10am via Ticketmaster, with general sale starting on Friday, July 10 at 10am. The event marks the first time Homobloc has been held in September, described as an "end of summer celebration."
