Home and Away actor Adam Rowland, who plays Remi Carter on the soap, has announced that he and his fiancée Olivia Lewis are expecting their first child. The couple shared the news on Instagram with a series of photos showing Olivia's baby bump.
The announcement received an outpouring of support from cast members, including Lynne McGranger (Irene Roberts), who wrote: 'Aww STOP IT!!! How wonderful! Congratulations.' Georgie Parker (Roo Stewart) added: 'Congratulations mate,' while the official Home and Away account called it 'the best news'.
Adam and Olivia got engaged in January, with Adam proposing at Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh. The actor shared a romantic photo of the moment on Instagram, captioning it: 'Our favourite sunrise.'
Adam is not the only Home and Away star to get engaged this year. Ada Nicodemou (Leah Patterson) and James Stewart (Justin Morgan) announced their engagement after Stewart proposed on Valentine's Day.
Home and Away airs weekdays at 6am on 5's streaming service and at 6.30pm on 5STAR in the UK. In Australia, it airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
