For some, the occasion was particularly poignant, with Savannah Guthrie's mother missing since earlier this year and Laura Dern having lost her mother, Diane Ladd, late last year. For others, such as Hailee Steinfeld and Millie Bobby Brown, it was a first celebration of the day.

Demi Moore posted a tribute to her daughters, recalling the first time she held each of them and expressing her love.
