Former Hollyoaks actress Hollie-Jay Bowes has left fans stunned with a racy social media post, six years after leaving the soap. The 30-year-old, best known for playing Michaela McQueen, shared a photo of herself in a thong bodysuit, a far cry from her character's punk style with fuchsia pink hair.
Bowes, who played the youngest McQueen from 2006 to 2010, captioned the image with emojis: 'Peach emoji. Dog emoji. Bed emoji.' The snap highlights her tiny waist and curves, as she poses with her golden locks dramatically swept aside.
Her departure from Hollyoaks in 2010 followed a reported argument with producers, leading to her character abruptly moving to London after a split from Zak Ramsey. She briefly returned in 2011 for a role in spin-off 'Hollyoaks Later' and again in 2012 before leaving for good.
Since leaving the soap, Bowes has continued in entertainment, narrating the documentary series 'Supersize Me' and playing the lead role of Marian in 'MYDIDAE' by BAFTA-winning playwright Jack Thorne, earning rave reviews.
