Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) takes charge in the quest to locate missing Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) in Hollyoaks next week after overhearing an intriguing conversation.
The former high school teacher has been on a mission to find Ste, who vanished from a shopping centre months ago. At first, she was doing so with James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) by her side, with the two proving quite the dynamic and investigative force to be reckoned with.
Sienna Suspects James
Sienna, however, soon came to suspect that James had played a role in the abduction of her best mate and thus she reported him to the police. But, as viewers know, James is completely innocent of the crime, having been set up by Imran Maalik (Ijaz Rana), who is the real culprit behind Ste's disappearance.
As was revealed earlier this month, Imran embarked on a secret romance with Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) after a chance meeting in LA.
Cindy and Lucas Investigate
Their connection blossomed as they discussed the negative impact Ste had had on certain stages of their lives, with Imran subsequently setting in motion the kidnap of the chef upon his arrival back in the village. Cindy has urged him to put a stop to all this before it's too late but with Imran refusing to back down, she decided to investigate herself – and earlier this week she sought help from Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis), who was left to die by ruthless Imran.
Lucas urged her to avoid going to the police, suggesting that instead they solve this mystery together.
Sienna Learns the Truth
And next week, they're forced to let Sienna in on the truth after she walks in on an interesting conversation the pair of them are having. Lucas and Cindy show her a map in subsequent scenes.
Will this ultimately lead to Ste being found now Sienna is on a mission? Is the nightmare set to conclude with Ste being found safe and sound? Or will this road lead to yet another dead end?
