In upcoming episodes of Hollyoaks, Mercedes McQueen is desperate to free Warren Fox from prison, fearing he will be killed. Ste tries to reason with her but acknowledges they need someone on the inside. Mercedes enlists Donny's support, then begs Grace and Freddie for help at The Loft, and the wheels are set in motion for Warren's escape. Donny nods to another inmate, prompting a riot in the prison.
Meanwhile, Darren Osborne picks up Frankie from her first day back at school. He is furious to find Suzanne in The Dog with JJ. Frankie is devastated that Suzanne is standing by JJ. Tempers flare when Suzanne rants about the abuse allegations, and the whole pub hears the row. Outside, JJ accuses Suzanne of ruining his life.
Pearl reaches out to Frankie and shares her own trauma: her sister Ruby was abused by their brother when young. Pearl blames herself and reveals they lost touch because of it. She tells Frankie that her sister was the bravest person she knew for speaking up.
Elsewhere, Cleo is stuck with controlling Abe, who still refuses to delete the video of her with the escort. He insists she changes her hairstyle and has dinner alone with him. Cleo agrees, but once at work, she dreads the evening ahead.
