Call the Midwife star Helen George has swapped her nursing uniform for a glamorous stage role in the UK revival of Cole Porter’s musical High Society. The actress, best known as Nurse Trixie Aylward, is currently starring as Tracy Lord at the Barbican in London.
The lavish production features a full-size orchestra and classic songs such as Just One of Those Things and I Love Paris. George attended the press night after-party in a figure-hugging chocolate-brown lace dress with a corseted bodice, creating a 'naked' illusion. She accessorised with beige heels and a voluminous blonde updo.
The mother of two was joined by her boyfriend, real estate consultant Dan Innes, whom she began dating in February 2025. The couple went public on Valentine’s Day after reportedly meeting on the dating app Raya. George previously separated from former co-star Jack Ashton in July 2023; they have two daughters, Wren and Lark.
Meanwhile, Call the Midwife continues with a prequel series and a film in development. Series 15, set in 1971, saw Trixie return to London and acquire a 55% stake in the Lady Emily Clinic for Women and Babies, securing the future of Nonnatus House.
