Plot and Cast
'The Night Of' is based on the first series of UK crime drama 'Criminal Justice' and tells the story of college student Naz, played by Riz Ahmed, who meets a mysterious woman and spends the night with her, only to wake up and find her stabbed to death with no recollection of what happened. Naz quickly becomes the prime suspect, setting up a gruelling legal battle to prove his innocence, with his gritty, eczema-ridden lawyer, played by John Turturro.
Ahmed was hailed for his performance, winning the Emmy for Lead Actor in a Limited Series.
