Hassie Harrison, best known for her role in Yellowstone, has been cast as a series regular in Fox and Fremantle’s new Baywatch TV series. She will play Nat, a former foster child turned Olympic athlete who sets the gold standard in lifeguarding.
Described as brilliant, driven and fiercely loyal, Nat is the right hand and closest friend of protagonist Hobie Buchannon, played by Stephen Amell. She holds everyone to her own high standards, which sometimes strains her relationships both on and off the beach.
Harrison joins an ensemble that includes Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, Jessica Belkin as Charlie Vale and David Chokachi, who reprises his original role as Cody Madison. The series follows Hobie, now a Baywatch captain following in his father Mitch’s footsteps, whose life is upended when his daughter Charlie arrives eager to continue the Buchannon legacy.
Scheduled to premiere on Fox as part of the 2026–2027 season, production begins this spring in the Los Angeles area. Matt Nix (Burn Notice, The Gifted) serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside director McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz.
Harrison recently starred in Sean Byrne’s thriller Dangerous Animals and has wrapped production on the neo-noir Deep Eddy. She is currently filming the modern Western The Rescue alongside Brandon Sklenar, and is attached to star in the thriller Raven with Anthony Mackie and Pablo Schreiber.
