Netflix has announced the lead cast for its upcoming series based on Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar novels. Colin Woodell will portray the titular character, a former basketball player whose career ends due to injury, leading him to become a sports agent. The series is one of several adaptations of Coben's work on the streaming platform.
Main Cast Revealed
Colin Woodell, 34, known for roles in The Continental, The Flight Attendant, and The Originals, takes on the role of Myron Bolitar. The character first appeared in Coben's 1995 novel Deal Breaker and has since featured in 12 books. Woodell married his The Originals co-star Danielle Campbell in September 2025.
KJ Apa, 29, best known for playing Archie Andrews on Riverdale, will play Win Lockwood. Described by Netflix as "a man born into extraordinary privilege who walked away from the family business," Lockwood is Myron's loyal and resourceful friend. Apa recently starred in The Map That Leads to You and is in a relationship with French model Clara Berry.
Diane Guerrero, 39, known for Orange Is the New Black, Doom Patrol, and Jane the Virgin, will play Esperanza Diaz, a former professional wrestler and Myron's partner at MB Sports. Guerrero's character is the agency's backbone, described as having "endless grit and razor-sharp wit."
Series Premise
The series follows Myron Bolitar as he reinvents himself after his NBA career is cut short by injury. Netflix teased: "He builds his agency, MB Sports, on an unwavering belief in overlooked athletes, with the same heart and sharp competitive drive he once brought to the court." Using charm and a ruthless partner, Myron navigates the high-stakes, dirty world of sports to save his clients.
The adaptation is part of a multi-series deal between Netflix and Harlan Coben, who has seen several of his books turned into successful series like The Stranger and Stay Close. No release date has been announced yet for Myron Bolitar.
