Young film fans in Hamilton can win a cinema gift voucher through a summer passport promotion as Vue at Palace Grounds screens family movies throughout the school holidays. The cinema has introduced a summer passport book for children to collect stamps when visiting the big screen, and families can share their movie adventures on a dedicated Facebook page for a chance to win a £25 gift card.
Discounted Tickets and Blockbuster Lineup
Vue is also offering new discounted children's tickets in partnership with the Great British Summer Savings scheme. The cinema is currently showing summer blockbusters including Toy Story 5, which reunites Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie with voices by Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack. Also screening is Minions & Monsters, which launched last week and features the Minions as they conquer Hollywood, become movie stars and accidentally unleash monsters upon the world.
Other films lined up for the holidays include Disney's live-action Moana and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, parts of which were filmed in Glasgow.
Special Screenings for Young Audiences
Vue is running Mighty Mornings screenings aimed at youngsters aged four to 11, and the Big Shorts series for pre-school children in a relaxed environment with dimmed lighting. Hamilton Vue general manager Tracy Wanless said: “There’s something for everyone to enjoy – from live-action reimaginings to animated adventures, it’s the perfect destination for families to escape, unwind and get lost in great stories on the big screen.”
