Grace Returns For Sixth Series With Toughest Cases

ITV has teased the return of its popular crime drama Grace, with the sixth series set to air this weekend. The show, which has been praised by fans as "the best thing on television", will feature four new episodes that promise to be the detective duo's toughest cases yet.

John Simm returns as Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, alongside Richie Campbell as Detective Sergeant Glenn Branson. The series, adapted from Peter James' bestselling novels, follows the pair as they investigate mysterious cases in Brighton.

ITV shared images on Instagram showing Simm and Campbell, with a post that read: "Go on... 'Grace' us with your attention as here's a little peek at the brand new series, starting this weekend. John Simm and Richie Campbell are back as Detective Roy Grace and DI Glenn Branson, facing their toughest cases yet."

The cast also includes Zoe Tapper as Cleo Morey, Laura Elphinstone as DS Bella Moy, and Outlander's Brad Morrison as DC Nick Nicholl. The series debuted in 2021 and has been praised on social media as "brilliant" viewing.

Fans have expressed excitement on Instagram, with comments such as "Can't wait" and "Delighted it's back, Sunday nights made". ITV previously teased the new series with a statement: "Sun, sea and... suspense. Grace series 6 starts on Sunday March 29 at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
